Details The List entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 1 February 2017. DUKINFIELD SJ 99 NW Victoria Road 3/5 Newton Wood War Memorial II War memorial. c.1920. Sculptor J.J. Hirst of Denton for the Newton Wood Committee. Ashlar. Aedicular memorial stands on a stepped plinth and has pediments with carved tympana on all 4 sides. Engaged corner antae flank the rolls of honour and the whole is topped by a carved crown. Listing NGR: SJ9415996739 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register. These sources were not used in the compilation of this List entry but are added here as a guide for further reading, 30 January 2017.
