This site is built on open data. Every entry credits its sources, and every image carries an inline credit on its place page. The rights of the original authors are respected.

Sources used

  • OpenStreetMap — coordinates, opening hours, tags, map tiles. Licensed under Open Database Licence (ODbL). © OpenStreetMap contributors.
  • Wikipedia — short factual extracts. Licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0. Each derived entry credits the originating Wikipedia article.
  • Wikidata — structured facts (coordinates, type, inception year, official site). Released under CC0.
  • Wikimedia Commons — images. Each image is licensed individually (CC0, CC BY, CC BY-SA at various versions); the per-image credit on each place page links to the specific licence. Photos retain their photographers' attribution.
