Details The following building shall be added:- HARTSHILL GRANGE ROAD SP39SW 1728- /5/10007 Bridge 30 - Grange Road Bridge at SP 3317 9489 II Public road bridge. c1769 - 71 with later alterations. Designed by James Brindley. Red brick with later and C19 repairs in brindled brick. Blue brick saddleback parapet copings terminating in stone caps. Stone capped end piers at corners probably added in early C20. Single, semi-elliptical arch spanning canal and towpath. Slightly cambered parapets, curving outwards on plan. An example of an early Coventry Canal bridge. Listing NGR: SP3317794886 Legacy The contents of this record have been generated from a legacy data system.
