Anglesey coast & history

Beaumaris Castle, the Menai Bridge and prehistoric Bryn Celli Ddu.

Anglesey (Ynys Môn) sits across the Menai Strait from mainland Wales, accessed by Thomas Telford's iconic 1826 suspension bridge. The island combines the UNESCO-listed Beaumaris Castle, dozens of prehistoric burial chambers (most famously Bryn Celli Ddu), and a 125-mile coast path that loops the whole island. Three days is enough to see the best.
