Details SK 98 SW STOW COATES LANE (south side) 5/53 Monument 3 yards south of Church of St. Edith G.V. II Monument. 1790. Ashlar, red brick, slate. Square red brick and ashlar base. 4 corner fluted-ashlar columns, broadening towards the top, with moulded bases, palmette capitals and scored abaci. Slate plaques set between columns on 3 sides inscribed with names and dates of William Maltby and family. Moulded top rising up to urn with palmette decoration and large acorn finial.
