Details DYMOCK THE VILLAGE SO 73 SW (north side) 5/115 Elliott monument, in the churchyard, about 21m south of west end of tower, Church of St. Mary GV II Pedestal tomb. George Elliott, died 1828. Stone. Weathered top, step, moulded edge to lid. Horizontally fluted frieze to north and south, horizontally ribbed to east and west, stopped short of plain corner block with paterae. Below wide, fluted chamfer to corners, run out top and bottom. East and west sides sunk panel, with slightly raised rectangle with scalloped corners, north and south rectangle formed with sunk line.
