Details SO 9076 - 9176 BELBROUGHTON CP CHURCH ROAD (west side) Belbroughton 12/19 Churchyard cross about 25 yards south of the Church of the Holy Trinity GV II Churchyard cross. Probably C15, restored early C20. Sandstone ashlar. Three-stepped square medieval base and square plinth with chamfered upper corners to form octagonal upper face. Hexagonal early C20 shaft with tabernacle head. On the west side of base is written "THIS ANCIENT/ CROSS IS RESTORED/ IN LOVING MEMORY/ OF' ? SIR EDWARD/ ? WOODGATE KC MC/ WHO FELL AT SPION/ JAN 24 1900". Listing NGR: SO9193476836 Legacy The contents of this record have been generated from a legacy data system.
