Coursed sandstone with ashlar dressings. Segmental arch bridge with hog's back profile; dressed voussoirs and soffit. Advanced keystone with 16 inscribed. String course. Railings between parapet walls. Slab coping to walls. — Edinburgh and Glasgow Union Canal designed by Hugh Baird was built from 1818-22. Scheduled Monument.
