Skye & the Inner Hebrides
Cuillin, fairy pools, distillery — a Highland archetype.
Skye is the largest of the Inner Hebridean islands and the most-visited in Scotland. Its skyline is dominated by the Cuillin — the most challenging mountain range in Britain — but the rest of the island offers an accessible mix of waterfalls (the Fairy Pools, Kilt Rock), the basalt cliffs of Quiraing, distilleries (Talisker), and the late-medieval Dunvegan Castle.
