Wainwright's Coast to Coast walk

192 miles from St Bees to Robin Hood's Bay — Lake District, Dales and Moors in one go.

Alfred Wainwright's Coast to Coast crosses three national parks (Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors) in 192 miles. Most walkers take 12 to 14 days. The route is unofficial — there's no waymarking — but it's the most popular long-distance walk in Britain.
