Details 1470/0/10022 28-SEP-01 HUTTON CRANSWICK MAIN STREET Cranswick (South side) War Memorial on Cranswick Green GV II War memorial. Erected 1921. Portland stone. An octagonal cross standing within a small square enclosure. Square enclosure surrounded by low wall of rock-faced stone. Central cross has octagonal stepped base with inscribed panels on each face, topped with a moulded cap and a tall battered octagonal cross shaft. This is surmounted by a further moulded cap and a plain stone cross. Listing NGR: TA0245652284 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register. These sources were not used in the compilation of this List entry but are added here as a guide for further reading, 1 February 2017.
