Details BRIGHOUSE HALIFAX ROAD (OFF) SE 12 SW (east side) 3/97 War Memorial in Rydings Park G. V. II War Memorial by F. W. Doyle-Jones 1922. Tall marble column on plinth is surmounted by good quality bronze statue of winged angel standing on a ball holding a crown of laurels aloft. At first designed for Thornton Square Brighouse the site changed to Rydings Park before the dedication. Listing NGR: SE1424223047 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register. These sources were not used in the compilation of this List entry but are added here as a guide for further reading, 31 January 2017.
