Fluted Ionic column on curved hexagonal plinth. Laurel wreath on column below capital. Low coped wall enclosing corner site with square ashlar end piers, corniced with acorn finials. — Design exhibited Royal Scottish Academy 1922. Square ashlar end piers are re-used gate piers from Millbank House of circa 1800. Memorial site was previously part of Millbank House garden.
