Details This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 28 March 2024 to correct the name and to reformat the text to current standards SJ 85 SW 5/73 KIDSGROVE CP TRENT AND MERSEY CANAL Bridge No. 131 (Formerly listed as Bridge No. 132) GV II Bridge. Circa 1824-27. Red and blue brick (English bond) with stone parapet band and coping and rusticated ashlar surround to a low segmental arch. Bridge No.131 probably belongs to the alterations carried out by Thomas Telford at the same time as the construction of a second Harecastle Tunnel.
