Details STRATTON-ON-THE-FOSSE CP FOSSE WAY (East side) ST65SE 13/198 War Memorial on roadside - - II War Memorial. Circa 1918. Dressed stone. In C15 style; octagonal base of 2 steps, lower with an offset, square socket with corner shafts on an octagonal base, inset on each face an inscription, tapering square shaft with corner shafts, elaborate calvary with figure on each face, finial. A monument of high sculptural quality. Listing NGR: ST6578050758 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register. These sources were not used in the compilation of this List entry but are added here as a guide for further reading, 14 December 2016.
