Rubble, tooled rubble dressings. High single span segmental arch ring over Altyre burn flanked by narrow single flood arches; bridge extended E in 1863 by further basket arched ring linked to earlier bridge by projecting bowed buttress with crenellated refuge and mock arrow slit. Both bridges linked by bandcourse and by 1863 parapet. Approximate spans; over burn - 6' x 20' x 6' over railway line - 16' — The Highland Railway, Perth to Inverness via Forres, constructed in 1863.
