Category B Date Added 26/01/1971 Local Authority Moray Planning Authority Moray Parish Rafford NGR NJ 04246 53246 Coordinates 304246, 853246 — Early-mid 19th century extended 1863 to cross railway line. Rubble, tooled rubble dressings. High single span segmental arch ring over Altyre burn flanked by narrow single flood arches; bridge extended E in 1863 by further basket arched ring linked to earlier bridge by projecting bowed buttress with crenellated refuge and mock arrow slit. Both bridges linked by bandcourse and by 1863 parapet. Approximate spans; over burn - 6' x 20' x 6' over railway line - 16' — The Highland Railway, Perth to Inverness via Forres, constructed in 1863.
