Details LEEDS SE2634 REDCOTE LANE, Kirkstall Valley 714-1/27/909 Redcote Canal Bridge, (Bridge 224) 05/08/76 (Formerly Listed as: LEEDS AND LIVERPOOL CANAL Redcote Bridge No.224 (Upper Armley) (LS 12)) II Canal bridge. Late C18. Ashlar. Basket arch, chamfered rustication to voussoirs, band at road level, triple keystone carried up to parapet as projecting block, square-section bollards with flattened pyramid caps. This bridge carried the drive from Armley House, Benjamin Gott's home, now The Mansion, Gott's Park, Armley Ridge Road (qv), to Kirkstall Road and the mills in the valley below.
