Details SJ 46 NW CHRISTLETON C.P. WHITCHURCH ROAD (East Side) 3/42 Quarry Bridge, Canal Bridge No.121 GV II Canal road bridge : c.1776 by Samuel Weston for the Chester Canal Company. Washed brick with stone dressings. Segmental brick arch, on canted piers, has keystone and projecting stone course above. 3 iron ties through the arch. Plain parapet with stone coping turns to form short curving wing walls. The standard bridge on this canal of which 2 others survive in Christleton.
