Details ODELL HIGH STREET SP 9658 (North Side) 19/297 Odell Manor 13.7.64 GV II Large house of C17 or C18 origins, extended C19. Coursed limestone rubble, old clay tile roofs. Two storeys and attics. Complex plan evolution: main block basically H-plan, with long side wing at right angles facing driveway. Main block has hipped roof. Garden front has central parapet flanked on either side by a gable. Two storeys. C19 sashes replaced by modern French windows on right hand. Left hand central part has doorcase of Doric pilasters, entablature and open pediment enclosing fanlight. Modern flat roofed extension on right hand. Courtyard front also has gables at each side, the right hand hipped, and both projecting forward. One box dormer, several casements and sashes with glazing bars.
