Details HARROLD CHURCH WALK SP 9456-9556 22/158 Parish Church of St. Peter 13.7.1964 GV I Parish church of coursed limestone rubble. The earliest datable feature is the three bay N. aisle. The uneven arches of the arcade were cut out of the earlier nave wall in the early C13. Parts of the original wall were made into piers and given stiff leaf capitals. The chancel arch dates from the same time. The two bay S. arcade is much loftier and dates from later in the century with octagonal piers. C14. N. chapel with very tall arch. The West tower is also C14 with a recessed C15 octagonal spire. Four corner tower pinnacles are connected to the spire by thin flying buttresses. Three tiers of lucarnes. C15 clerestorey.
