Details LEEDS SE33NW HARROGATE ROAD, Moor Allerton 714-1/7/990 (West side) War memorial approximately 50m south of the Church of St John the Evangelist GV II War memorial. 1924. Portland stone. Square base of 3 steps; chamfered plinth with lettering: 'TO THE MEMORY OF THOSE/ FROM MOOR ALLERTON/ WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR/ 1914-1918/ 1939-1945' and bronze plaque, 2-tier cross base, tapering octagonal cross shaft, plain cross with inset panels. (A Brief History of the Church of St John the Evangelist: 1978-). Listing NGR: SE3071239263 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register.
