Kington Town Football Club is a football club based in Kington, Herefordshire, England. They are currently members of the Herefordshire League Premier Division and play at Mill Street.

Background

History

The club was established in 1875. In 1923 they joined Division One of the Mid Wales League, but left after a single season. They returned to the league in 1951, and were champions in 1954–55. The club were Mid Wales League runners-up in 1957–58, but left the league again in 1960. However, they returned the following season, and were champions for a second time in 1963–64. The club were champions again in 1965–66. After leaving the league in 1977, they returned in 1981, but finished bottom of the table in 1981–82.
