Details SD 90 SE MOSSLEY HUDDERSFIELD NARROW CANAL 1/112 Micklehurst Bridge - and Lock No. W13 - II Lock and tail bridge. Between 1794 and 1797. Benjamin Outram enginner. Hammer-dressed stone. The lock which is grooved for stop planks has gate recesses (no gates) and has been largely filled in in C20. The bridge has an elliptical arch, stone band and side walls which are curved in plan, have rounded copings and are terminated in battered square piers.
