About

House of Marbles at Bovey Tracey on the edge of Dartmoor combines the only working glass-marble factory in the UK with a free-entry museum of 200,000 marbles, board games, glassware, miniature war games and the giant 'Marble Run' kinetic sculpture — a four-metre wooden Rube Goldberg machine of marbles cascading through tracks, levers and bells. The attached pottery shop occupies a Grade II-listed Victorian Bovey Pottery building. A surprising hit with adults; free.
