About

Gulliver's Kingdom at Matlock Bath was the first of the Gulliver's family theme parks when it opened in 1978, climbing the steep wooded hillside above the River Derwent in the Peak District. The hilly site gives it a distinctive multi-level feel — a cable-car-style chairlift connects the main entrance to the upper rides — and the Western-themed Lost World, Royal Cavalcade and Fantasy Terrace areas keep its 1980s charm. Aimed at the same 2-13 age band as the chain's newer parks.
