Category B Date Added 03/08/1971 Local Authority Dumfries And Galloway Planning Authority Dumfries And Galloway Parish Middlebie NGR NY 25037 77350 Coordinates 325037, 577350 — Inscribed "Parks Masons, 1829". Roadbridge, single segmental arch over Kirtle Water. Bull-faced grey ashlar and voussoirs; ramped parapets are stugged; band course below latter and coping both polished ashlar: square piers to splayed approaches have shallow pyramidal caps. — Also in Kirkpatrick Fleming Parish. Compares with some of Telford's bridge designs.
