Details The asset was previously listed twice also under List entry 1206925. This entry was removed from the List on 1st October 2015. SJ 97 SW 4/67 HURDSFIELD C.P. Canal bridge No.33 II Canal bridge : c.1830 by William Crosley for the Macclesfield Canal Company. Hammer-dressed pink and buff sandstone. Horseshoe elliptical arch has a chamfered coping at road level, with a plain parapet topped by a rounded coping. The bridge ends at each corner with square pilasters.
