Details 1. 5280 SHOREHAM SHOREHAM Church Street (North Side) Bridge over the River Darent TQ 5261 31/1168 10.9.54. II 2. The bridge consists of 3 low brick arches with stone buttressing and solid balustrade of red brick and flint rubble. The old ford still exists at the side of the bridge. The present structure is probably C19 although there was apparently a bridge here in the late C18 dating from mediaeval times.
