Granite ashlar. Simple single span bridge with plain segmental arch. Plain projecting dripcourse at road level supported by a series of small corbels between the terminal piers project outwards and provide inside refuges with stone benches. This bridge is part of an extensive landscaping scheme conceived by Mawson to go with the rebuilding of Rood House (q.v.). The landscaping of the nearby lake was an important component of the scheme.
