Details Stone cross replete with laurel wreath, resting on a tall, multi-layered pedestal. The front face of the pedestal bears a plaque reading: TO THE / GLORY OF GOD / AND / IN MEMORY OF THE / BELMONT MEN / WHO FELL IN THE / GREAT WAR / 1914 - 1918 / AND / THOSE MEN AND WOMEN / OF BELMONT / WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES / IN THE WORLD WAR / 1939 - 1945. The right and left sides both bear plaques with the names of the Fallen. The back face bears a laurel wreath. The memorial rests on a slightly raised circular platform. This List entry has been amended to add the source for War Memorials Online. This source was not used in the compilation of this List entry but is added here as a guide for further reading, 21 March 2017.
