Category B Date Added 19/08/1977 Local Authority Scottish Borders Planning Authority Scottish Borders Burgh Hawick NGR NT 50085 14544 Coordinates 350085, 614544 — 3 eliptical stone arches spanning Teviot. Dated 1865. — A prominent, well-proportioned, later-19th-century stone bridge of three elegant segmental arches, carrying the main A7 road across the River Teviot and into the heart of Hawick. This structure replaced Hawick's first bridge over the Teviot of 1741. Revised as part of the Hawick Burgh Resurvey (2008).
