The Jurassic Coast: 95 miles of fossil cliffs
Lyme Regis to Old Harry Rocks — the only natural UNESCO site in England.
The Jurassic Coast is the 95-mile stretch of Dorset and East Devon coastline between Exmouth and Old Harry Rocks. Inscribed by UNESCO in 2001 for its 185 million years of geology — Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous all in cliffs you can walk along. Lyme Regis (Mary Anning's) is the fossil-hunting capital; Lulworth Cove is the most-photographed bay; Durdle Door is the most-photographed arch.
