Walking the West Highland Way
96 miles from Milngavie to Fort William — Scotland's premier long-distance trail.
The West Highland Way runs from Milngavie (just north of Glasgow) to Fort William, beneath Ben Nevis. 96 miles, typically walked in seven or eight days. Highlights are Loch Lomond, Glen Coe, Rannoch Moor and the Devil's Staircase. Most walkers stay in B&Bs or bothy-and-bag.
