Walking the Pennine Way
268 miles from Edale to Kirk Yetholm — Britain's first national trail.
The Pennine Way runs from Edale in the Peak District to Kirk Yetholm in the Scottish Borders — 268 miles along the spine of England. Three weeks for the full traverse; many walkers do shorter sections. The High Force waterfall, Hadrian's Wall, the Cheviots and Cross Fell are the dramatic points.
