Bath and the Cotswolds: a long weekend in honey-coloured stone

Roman baths, Georgian crescents, and the most picturesque villages in England.

Bath is the only city in the UK that is itself a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Add to it the Cotswolds — 800 square miles of limestone hills dotted with villages so well-preserved they seem to belong to another century — and you have one of the most concentrated patches of beauty in Britain.
