Details YATTON C.P. CHURCH ROAD (south side) ST 46 NW 5/151 Churchyard cross in the churchyard about 6 metres south of porch of 11.l0.6l Church of St. Mary (Formerly Listed as Churchyard Cross) G.V. II Churchyard cross, said to have been erected 1499, restored 1919 as war memorial. Limestone. Octagonal base, 5 octagonal steps up to plinth with broach stops; square socket stone has angels carved to sides, 2 original and 2 restored, shaft surmounted by stone lantern, square, with cusped openings to each side, figures carved in each opening, stepped pyramidal roof. Ancient Monument Avon no. 113. Listing NGR: ST4312865396 This List entry has been amended to add the source for War Memorials Register. This source was not used in the compilation of this List entry but is added here as a guide for further reading, 16 June 2017.
