Details WORLEBURY HILL ROAD 1. 5121 Worle Tower Observatory ST 36 SW 1/76 II 2. Probably late C18. Formerly a windmill. Converted circa 1876 to an observatory. Circular, 3 stage tower. Rendered. Corbelled battlement parapet. Upper windows have slight ogee moulding cut into lintel. Door set back in slightly splayed opening, with moulded lintel.
