Details SD 92SE TODMORDEN (former M.B.) WOODHOUSE ROAD 7/323 Woodhouse Bridge and retaining walls to either side G.V. II Bridge over the River Calder. Dated on keystone of arch A.D.1830. Pitch faced stone retaining walls, tapering buttresses to either side of single-span semi- circular arch with rusticated voussoirs with raised keystone. Land arch to northern end set between buttresses. Parapet is in ashlar to retaining walls but the surface is tooled to that over bridge. The southernmost retaining wall is attached to Woodhouse Mill Bridge (q.v.). Listing NGR: SD9511324472 Legacy The contents of this record have been generated from a legacy data system.
