It takes the form of a cross with canopy, both made of wood, erected on a stone plinth, with a bronze figure of Christ crucified. Around the base of the cross are four square blocks on which are inscribed the names of twenty seven casualties of the Great War. The whole stands on a square stone slab. HISTORY The memorial was erected at a cost of £228 and dedicated on 10th July 1920. It was designed by Inigo Triggs.
