Details NZ 15 SE 7/194 STANLEY DURHAM ROAD (South side, off) Annfield Plain War Memorial in Annfield Plain Park GV II War memorial; circa 1919. Possibly Portland stone. Tall pylon, the top scroll-moulded with recessed labelled band, on moulded plinth and steps with raised centre sections. Names of dead of Annfield Plain in both world wars in dark letters on both narrow sides and all sides of plinth; sword and wreath decoration. Listing NGR: NZ1697551160 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online, the War Memorials Register and North East War Memorials Project. These sources were not used in the compilation of this List entry but are added here as a guide for further reading, 6 September 2018.
