Official information
The Tinworth pillar is a historical monument located in Kennington Park, originally part of a large ornamental fountain created by George Tinworth in 1872. It features a bas relief decoration and was designed to support a sculpture representing 'The Pilgrimage of Life', which depicted a man carrying a cross alongside a woman and child.
