Details The following building shall be added to the list:- SJ 83 NE 5/10008 STONE RURAL TRENT AND MERSEY CANAL Meafordhall Farm Bridge No 102 at SJ 8873 3750 II Canal road bridge. Probably mid C19. Brindled brick with stone coping. Single span with towpath and humped back. Elliptical arch. Swept wings terminating in piers at all 4 corners. Stone quoins. Stone string course with dentillated brick band beneath. Stone plaque at crown on both sides. The Trent and Mersey Canal was built between 1766 and 1777 by James Brindley and Hugh Henshall.
