Details SHEFFIELD SK38NE BARLEYWOOD ROAD 784-1/6/63 (East side (off)) War Memorial 250m east of Chapels at Tinsley Park Cemetery II War memorial cross. c1920. Designed by Sir Reginald Blomfield. Portland stone with bronze sword. Tapered octagonal cross shaft with plinth and bronze sword at the front. Inscribed octagonal pedestal with plinth on an octagonal base, 2 steps, with corniced top. This memorial commemorates members of the armed forces buried in the cemetery. Listing NGR: SK3976388688 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register. These sources were not used in the compilation of this List entry but are added here as a guide for further reading, 27 February 2018.
