Details TM 15 SE SWILLAND ASHBOCKING ROAD 1/15 Swilland Manor - - II House, c.1600, with alterations of C19 and C20. 2 storeys. Timber-framed and plastered. End chimneys, the parlour chimney to right plastered, formerly having 2 attached hexagonal chimneys. C20 casements with leaded lights. 4- panelled early C19 entrance door with broad reeded surround. parlour fireplace of c.1600 has richly carved oak surround and overmantel. Good wind- braced clasped-purlin roof. 1-storey C19 extensions, plaintiled to left and right; another of 2 storeys to rear.
