Details GREAT WISHFORD WEST STREET SU 03 NE (east end) 3/31 Stoford Bridge 23.3.60. II Partly in South Newton Parish (q.v.). Road bridge over River Wylye. Early C18, rebuilt 1841. Limestone with Flemish bond brick parapet. Five segmental ashlar arches with keystones, heights increase to centre, half-round ashlar cutwaters carried up to brick parapet as half-round shaft pilasters, plat band to parapet with weathered moulded stone coping. Short curved abutment walls terminating in cylindrical ashlar end piers. Keystone to centre of north side inscribed REBUILT/By PLOWMAN/AND MAY/1841.
