Category C Date Added 05/10/1971 Local Authority Highland Planning Authority Highland Parish Portree NGR NG 48117 43737 Coordinates 148117, 843737 — Alexander Ross, 1884. 1st pointed Gothic; stugged sneck coursed rubble, tooled red sandstone dressings. Simple rectangular church with truncated tower housing porch at SW angle. Triple lancets linked by pointed hoodmould to east gable; buttressed 6 bay flanks. Slate roof. — In ecclesiastical use as such. Built as a memorial to Bishop Mackarness.
