Category B Date Added 25/04/1989 Local Authority Moray Planning Authority Moray Parish Alves NGR NJ 13446 63572 Coordinates 313446, 863572 — Dated 1776. S facing 2-storey, regular 3-bay house with slightly set back later single storey, 2-bay gable wings; fronted off-centre by modern flat roofed porch with side entrance. Harled, ashlar margins and dressings, random rubble porch. Roll moulding to door and window jambs in early portion of house; long and short detailing to all front openings and angles. Secondary entrance in E wing. Small 1st floor windows; modern glazing. Moulded copes to end stacks on main house, simple coped end stacks to wings; slate roofs. Modern set back garage at NE. — SE skewputt dated 1776 and initialled IR ID, IR possibly for ?Russell (See Old Parish Church, Russell Enclosure).
