Single span bridge over River Esk, spanning circa 20'. Sandstone ashlar voussoirs to segmental arch, string course and coping; sandstone rubble to parapet and approach walls with harl-pointing. Approach walls curved to S. — Simple, dignified bridge, to W of Smeaton Home Farm, carrying road between Shepherd's Cottage and Stables and Smeaton House (Smeaton Home Farmhouse).
