Monument commemorating conventicle. Obelisk, on battered square base, all raised on stepped plinth: capped with Communion cup. Granite. — Inscription ".....spot where a large number of Covenanters met in the Summer of 1678 to worship God and where about 3000 communicants......celebrated the sacrament of the Lords Supper. ......adjacent stones....used as the communion table." etc.
