Details This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 29/04/2020 SP 94 SE 3/55 MARSTON MORETAINE LOWER SHELTON ROAD Shelton Manor 22.10.52 II House. C16 with later reworkings. Close-studded timber framing with colour washed brick and plaster infill. Clay tile roofs. Long rectangular two-storeyed block, first floor jettied. C19 single-storeyed addition to centre of front, of colour washed brick with hipped tile roof. Slightly lower two-storeyed addition to right hand gable end, with lighter timber framing. Ground floor has two, three-light casement windows to main block, and canted bay and casement to C19 block. First floor has four, three-light casement windows. All windows retain leaded lights. Part-glazed door to left hand under sloping roofed open porch. Plank door to right hand surmounted by rectangular fanlight. External brick stack to left hand gable end.
